Thaleia has lived in California for over 25 years. Her passion is to spend as much time as possible exploring and painting the mountains. Her background includes a degree in art & education, graphic arts experience & a variety of independent studies with numerous renown artists. Her work has been exhibited all over the country & continues to earn numerous national awards. Thaleia is experienced in many different media & her subject matter varies but she prefers landscapes. Her recent works are in pastel. Much of her work is produced all or in part on location but she also works from her studio. Whenever possible she prefers to pack on foot or horseback into the high country to paint and photograph. She also travels and paints throughout the western states.
