Beginning Pastel

This is a great class for beginner to intermediate artists that introduces various papers, pastels, equipment, techniques and tools. The instructor gives a lot of personal attention to each student along with fun exercises and critiques. This is a 4 session class offered every Friday in April. The class will repeat again starting on May 21st. Very affordably priced at only $200 for 4 full, fun packed days!

CARMEL ART FESTIVAL

I am honored to have been accepted to participate in this years prestigious plein air painting competition and events known as the CARMEL ARTS FESTIVAL. I will be arriving in Carmel on Wednesday, May 12th and painting all around the area through Sunday May 16th. The judging will be held Saturday morning with an art auction & award ceremony on Saturday evening. There will be an exciting Quick Draw event on Sunday from 9am to 11am followed by a silent auction! Whew!

I will be painting this week in and around the charming town of Los Gatos, California, known for its historic homes, buildings, parks, & the surrounding Santa Cruz mountains. I am honored to have been selected to participate in this prestigious event. Several adys of painting will conclude in 2 main events. Time again for the annual Art Studio Tour! This year the Tour will span 2 weekends but we will only be open ONE WEEKEND, the last weekend in September!
