          I have a great passion for the outdoors so I paint on location whenever possible. My subject matter varies but my preference is landscape. Most of my work ranges in style from impressionism to representational.

          Today I paint primarily in pastel but my broad background has given me knowledge and experience in most media, both 2 and 3 dimensional, as well as commercial art. I was born with natural ability followed by the good fortune to have had excellent training throughout my life. Training and experience gave me a solid foundation on which to grow, and the self-assurance and flexibility to advance. My experience teaching students all agesives me an opportunity to both pass on knowledge and the benefit of broadening my own understanding. I am forever thankful. Art is a life-long journey.
